Making Referrals & BookingsWe want to ensure that the referral process for you and your patient is as easy as possible, whether for private medical insured, self-pay or NHS patients.For private patients, simply print off and return our standard referral form. Forms can be faxed or posted to your local hospital and contact details can be easily found in the Referrers’ Directory or by finding your Nuffield Hospital. Download the Standard Referral Form. For NHS patients, you’ll find us listed in the Choose and Book Directory of Services. Or, please call your local Nuffield team for help with any enquiries or requests for further information. Private Medical InsuranceIf the patient has private medical insurance, they need to contact their insurance company to obtain important policy details, before they can arrange an appointment with the hospital. This information may include:
Self-payPatients who are funding their own consultation and treatment can book their appointment once they have a GP referral. They can call their local Nuffield Hospital and make an appointment directly. Choose and BookIf a patient choose to book their appointment with Nuffield Hospitals they can contact the Nuffield Hospitals Choose and Book Centre on 0800 015 50 20 to arrange an appointment.
